Nominated by their teachers for their outstanding achievements and contributions to school life, the students joined young people from across London to celebrate dedication, talent and community spirit.

Congratulations to all!

DT Best Dressed Cork Competition

Year 7 students had fun reimagining cork bottle tops in our annual DT club Best Dressed Cork competition.

Congratulations to Isabelle 7R and Poppy 7C for their pizza and pasta restaurant complete with a pizza in the oven and boxes filled and ready to deliver!

Everyone had so much fun developing cork characters and scenes, and it has been a great way for year 7 to make new friendships.

Well done to all of you!

Institute of International Monetary Research

A group of year 13 students attended the Institute of International Monetary Research's (IIMR) Public Lecture delivered by Lord Burns at the Royal Automobile Club (RAC) titled: "Monetary and fiscal policy since 2007: Could we have done better?"

This was a very timely opportunity for us given the backdrop of the very important budget to be delivered by the Chancellor on the 26th of November, and the centrality of both fiscal and monetary policies in the macroeconomics part of the syllabus. Our students found the lecture very informative and accessible even though it was primarily tailored for a mixed audience of economic and financial journalists, academics and City professionals.
